PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:
(Psalm 149:1-9)
SING VIR DIE HERE ‘N NUWE LIED:
1. Loof die Here! Sing vir die Here ‘n nuwe lied! Sing Sy lof in die vergadering van Sy getroue dienaars.
2. Laat Israel hom verheug in sy Skepper, laat die inwoners van Sion jubel oor hulle Koning!
3. Laat hulle Sy Naam met koordanse loof. Begelei deur tamboeryn en harp, vir Hom lofliedere sing.
4. Want die Here verbly Hom in Sy volk; met Sy redding hef Hy die hulpeloses op.
5. Sy troue dienaars juig oor hierdie eer; hulle jubel op hulle beddens.
6. Mag hulle God loof met hulle lippe, met ‘n twee-snydende swaard in hulle hande,
7. om wraak uit te oefen op die nasies, en straf oor die volke,
8. Om konings vas te maak met boeie, en hulle leiers met ysterkettings,
9. om die oordeel te voltrek wat reeds vasgestel is. Dit is die roem van Sy troue dienaars. Prys die Here!

SING TO THE LORD A NEW SONG:
(Psalm 149:1-9)
1. Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the assemblies of the godly!
2. Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King!
3. Let them praise His Name with dancing, making melody to Him with tambourine and lyre!
4. For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the humble with salvation.
5. Let the Godly exult in Glory; let them sing for joy on their beds.
6. Let the high praises of God be in their throats, and two-edged swords in their hands,
7. to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples,
8. to bind their kings with chains, and nobles with fetters of iron,
9. to execute on them the judgement written! This is honour for all His Godly ones. Praise the Lord!
