PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Lukas 10:1-9)

DIE OES IS GROOT MAAR DIE ARBEIDERS MIN:

1. Daarna het die Here twee en sewentig ander aangewys en hulle twee-twee voor Hom uitgestuur, na elke dorp en plek waarheen Hy van plan was om te gaan. 
2. Hy het vir hulle gesê: “Die oes is wel groot, maar die arbeiders is min. Bid dan die Here aan Wie die oes behoort, om arbeiders uit te stuur vir Sy oes. 
3. “Gaan nou! Maar onthou: Ek stuur julle soos lammers tussen wolwe. 
4. “Moenie ‘n beurs of reissak of skoene saamdra nie, en moenie langs die pad met groetery tyd verkwis nie. 
5. “As julle in ‘n huis kom, moet julle eerste woorde wees: ‘Vrede vir hierdie huis!’
6. “As daar iemand woon vir wie die vrede bestem is, sal die vrede op hom bly, so nie, sal dit na jou toe terugkom. 
7. “Moenie van een huis na die ander trek nie, maar bly in dieselfde huis, eet en drink wat hulle voorhande het, want die arbeider is geregtig op sy loon. 
8. “As julle in ‘n dorp kom, en hulle ontvang julle, eet dan wat hulle julle voorsit. Maak die siekes daar gesond, en sê vir die mense: ‘Vir julle is die Koninkryk van God baie naby!’
9. “Maar as julle in ‘n dorp kom en hulle ontvang julle nie, gaan dan uit in sy strate en sê: ‘Selfs julle dorp se stof, wat aan ons voete sit, vee ons af as aanklag teen julle.’.”

(Luke 10:1-9)

THE HARVEST IS PLENTIFUL BUT THE LABOURERS ARE FEW: 

1. After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others, and sent them on ahead of Him, two by two, into every town and place where He Himself was about to go. 
2. And He said to them: “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest. 
3. “Go your way; behold, I Am sending you as lambs in the midst of wolves. 
4. “Carry no money bag, no knapsack, no sandals, greet no one on the road. 
5. “Whatever house you enter, first say: ‘Peace be to this house.’
6. “And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. But if not, it will return to you. 
7. “And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the labourer deserves his wages. Do not go from that house. 
8. “Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you. 
9. “Heal the sick in it and say to them: ‘The Kingdom of God Has come near to you.’”

PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Lukas 9:46-56)

“WIE MY ONTVANG, ONTVANG HOM WAT MY GESTUUR HET:”

1. Daar het ‘n stryery ontstaan oor wie van hulle die belangrikste is. 
2. Jesus het geweet met watter gedagtes hulle besig was, en Hy trek ‘n kindjie nader om langs Hom te kom staan. 
3. Toe sê Hy vir hulle: “Elkeen wat hierdie kindjie in My Naam ontvang, ontvang My. het. Wie die minste onder julle almal is, hy is groot. 
4. Toe sê Johannes: ‘Here, ons het iemand gesien wat in U Naam bose geeste uitdryf. En ons het hom probeer keer, omdat hy U nie saam met ons volg nie.’
5. Maar Jesus sê vir hom: “Moet hom nie keer nie, want wie nie teen julle is nie, is vir julle. 
6. Toe die tyd nader kom dat Jesus in die hemel opgeneem sou word, het Hy vasbeslote die reis na Jerusalem begin. 
7. Hy het boodskappers voor Hom uitgestuur. Hulle het vertrek en in ‘n dorp van die Samaritane gekom, om daar vir Hom verblyf te reël. 
8. Maar die inwoners wou Hom nie ontvang nie, omdat Hy na Jerusalem toe op pad was. 
9. Tor die twee dissipels Jakobus en
   Johannes dit sien, sê hulle: ‘Here, wil U hê ons moet vuur uit die hemel afroep om hulle te verteer?’
10. Maar Hy het omgedraai en hulle skerp tereg gewys. 
11. Daarna het hulle die reis voortgesit na ‘n ander dorp toe.

(Luke 9:46-56)

“WHOEVER RECEIVES ME, RECEIVES HIM WHO SENT ME:”

1. An argument arose among them, as to which of them was the greatest. 
2. But Jesus, knowing the reasoning in their hearts, took a child and put him by His side. 
3. And said to them: “whoever receives this child in My Name, receives Me, and whoever receives Me, receives Him Who sent Me. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great. “
4. John answered: ‘Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your Name, and we tried to stop him, because he he does not follow You with us. 
5. But Jesus said to him: “Do not stop him, for the one who is not against us, is for us.
6. When, the days drew near for Him to be taken up, He set His face to go to Jerusalem. 
7. And He sent messengers ahead of Him, who went and entered a village of the Samaritans, to make arrangements for Him. 
8. But the people did not receive Him, because His face was set toward Jerusalem. 
9. And when His disciples James and John saw it, they said: ‘Do You want us to tell fire to come down from heaven and consume them?’
10. But He turned and rebuked them. 
11. And they went on to another village.

PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Lukas 37-45) 

ALMAL WAS VERBAAS OOR DIE GROOTHEID VAN GOD:

1. Die volgende dag toe hulle die berg afkom, het ‘n groot skare mense Jesus tegemoet gekom. 
2. Meteens roep daar ‘n man uit die skare: ‘Meester ek smeek U, kyk bietjie na my seun. Hy is my enigste kind. 
3. ‘n Gees pak  hom onverwags beet, dan gaan hy aan die skreeu en hy kry stuiptrekkings, en ook skuim om die mond. Die gees hou aan om hom te verniel, en laat hom nie maklik weer los nie. 
4. ‘Ek het U dissipels gesmeek om die gees uit te dryf, maar hulle kon nie. 
5. Toe antwoord Jesus: “Ongelowige en ontaarde geslag! Hoe lank moet Ek nog by julle wees en julle verdra? Bring die seun hier.”
6. Terwyl die seun nog aankom, gooi die bose gees hom op die grond neer, en laat hom hewige stuiptrekkings kry. Maar Jesus het die onrein gees skerp aangespreek, die kind gesond gemaak, en hom aan sy pa teruggegee. 
7. Almal was verbaas oor die Grootheid van God. 
8. Terwyl almal verbaas was oor alles wat Jesus gedoen het, sê Hy vir Sy dissipels: “Wat julle betref, hou hierdie woorde goed in gedagte: Die Seun van die mens gaan in die hande van mense oorgelewer word.”
9. Maar hulle het hierdie uitspraak nie verstaan nie. Die betekenis daarvan was vir hulle bedek, sodat hulle dit nie kon begryp nie. Maar hulle was bang om Jesus daaroor uit te vra.

(Luke 9:37-45)

ALL WERE ASTONISHED AT THE MAJESTY OF GOD:

1. On the next day when they had come down from the mountain, a great crowd met Him. 
2. And behold, a man from the crowd cried out: ‘Teacher, I beg You to look at my son, for he is my only child. 
3. ‘And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out. It convulses him so, that he foams at the mouth, and shatters him, and will hardly leave him. 
4. ‘And I begged your disciples to cast it out, but they could not.’
5. Jesus answered: “O faithless and twisted generation. How long Am I to be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.”
6. While the boy was coming, the demon threw him to the ground and convulsed him. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit and healed the boy. Then He gave him back to his father. 
7. All were astonished at the majesty of God. 
8. But while they were all marveling at everything Jesus was doing, He said to His disciples: “Let these words sink into your ears: The Son of man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.”
9. But they did not understand this saying, and it was concealed from them, so that they might not perceive it. And they were afraid to ask Him about this saying. 

Maandag 17 Februarie 2025.

PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Lukas 9:28-36) 

“DIT IS MY SEUN WAT EK UITVERKIES HET, LUISTER NA HOM:”

1. Omtrent agt dae nadat Jesus hierdie woorde gesê het, het Hy vir Petrus en Johannes en Jakobus die berg op geneem om te gaan bid. 
2. Terwyl Hy bid, het die voorkoms van Sy gesig anders geword, en Sy klere skitterend wit. 
3. Skielik was daar twee mans wat met Hom praat. Dit was Moses en Elia.
4. Hulle het in hemelse glans verskyn en met Hom gepraat oor Sy uittog wat Hy in Jerusalem sou voltooi. 
5. Petrus en die ander het intussen vas aan die slaap geraak, en toe hulle wakker word, sien hulle die hemelse glans van Jesus, en ook die twee manne wat by Hom staan. 
6. Toe die manne aanstaltes maak om van Hom af weg te gaan, sê Petrus vir Jesus:  ‘Here, dit is goed dat ons hier is. Laat ons drie hutte bou: een vir U, een vir Moses en een vir Elia.’ Hy het nie geweet wat hy sê nie. 
7. Terwyl hy nog praat, kom daar ‘n wolk en gooi sy skaduwee oor hulle, en toe die skaduwee hulle insluit, het die dissipels bang geword. 
8. Daar kom toe ‘n stem uit die wolk wat sê: ‘+Dit is My Seun wat Ek uitverkies het. Luister na Hom.’+
9.  Toe die stem praat, merk hulle dat Jesus alleen daar is. Hulle het hieroor stilgebly en in daardie tyd vir niemand anders enigiets vertel, van wat hulle gesien het nie.

 Monday 17 February 2025. 

(Luke 9:28-36)

“THIS IS MY SON, MY CHOSEN ONE, LISTEN TO HIM:”

1. About eight days after these sayings, He took Peter and James and John, and went up on the mountain to pray. 
2. Anf as He was praying, the appearance of His face altered, and His clothing became dazzling white. 
3. And behold, two men were talking with Him, Moses and Elijah,
4. who appeared in glory, and spoke of His departure, which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. 
5. Peter and those who were with him, were heavy with sleep, but when they became fully awake, they saw His Glory and the two men who stood with Him. 
6. And as the men were parting from Him, Peter said to Jesus: ‘Master, it is good that we are here. Let us make three tents, one for You and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.’
7. As he was saying these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they were afraid, as they entered the cloud. 
8. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying: ‘+This is My Son, My chosen One; listen to Him.’+
9. And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent and told no one in those days anything of what they had seen.
