PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Lukas 22:31-38) 

HY IS AS MISDADIGER BESKOU: 

  1. “Simon, Simon,” het Jesus gesê. “Luister, die satan het daarop aangedring om julle soos koring te sif. 
  2. “Maar Ek het vir jou gebid dat jou geloof jou nie begewe nie. As jy weer tot inkeer gekom het, moet jy jou broers versterk. “
  3. Petrus reageer toe: ‘Here, ek is bereid om saam met U, selfs gevangenskap en dood in te gaan.’
  4. Maar Jesus antwoord “Petrus: Ek sê vir jou: Die haan sal vannag nie kraai voordat jy My drie maal verloën het, deur te sê dat jy My nie ken nie.”
  5. Verder het Jesus vir hulle gesê: “Toe Ek julle uitgestuur het sonder beursie en reissak en skoene, het julle iets kortgekom?” ‘Nee, niks nie.’ was hulle antwoord. 
  6. Toe sê Hy vir hulle: “Maar nou, wie ‘n beursie het moet dit saamneem. En net so ook ‘n reissak. En wie nie ‘n swaard het nie, moet van sy klere verkoop en een aanskaf. 
  7. “Ek sê vir julle: Die Skrifwoord wat sê: ‘+En Hy is as misdadiger beskou,’+ “moet aan My bewaarheid word, want wat op My betrekking het, gaan nou in vervulling.”
  8. Hulle sê toe: ‘Here, kyk hier is twee swaarde.’ “Ons laat dit daarby,” antwoord Hy hulle toe. “Dis genoeg.”

(Luke 22:31-38) 

HE WAS NUMBERED WITH THE TRANSGRESSORS:

  1. “Simon, Simon, behold, satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, 
  2. “but I Have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.”
  3. Peter said to Him: ‘Lord, I am ready to go with You both to prison and to death.’
  4. Jesus answered: “I tell you Peter: The rooster will not crow this day, until you deny three times that you know Me.”
  5. And He said to them: “When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything? They said: ‘Nothing.’
  6. Then He said to them: “But now let the one who has a money bag,  take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword, sell his clothes and buy one. 
  7. “For I tell you that this Scripture be fulfilled in Me: ‘+And He was numbered with the transgressors,’+ For what is written about Me, has its fulfillment.”
  8. And they said: ‘Look Lord. Here are two swords.’ And He said to them: “It is enough!”

(Lukas 22:24-30) 

“JULLE WAS DIE MENSE WAT BY MY GEBLY HET:”

  1. Daar het onenigheid onder hulle ontstaan oor wie van hulle as die belangrikste beskou moet word. 
  2. Maar toe sê Jesus vir hulle: “By die nasies is dit so: konings speel oor die mense baas, en ook dié wat gesag afdwing, laat hulleself weldoeners noem. 
  3. “Maar by julle moet dit nie so wees nie. Inteendeel, die belangrikste onder julle moet soos die geringste wees. En die een wat die leier is, soos die een wat dien. 
  4. “Wie is die belangrikste? Die een wat aan tafel is, of die een wat bedien? Tog hy wat aan tafel is, nie waar nie? Maar Ek is in julle kring soos een wat dien. 
  5. “Julle is die mense wat in My beproewings altyddeur by My gebly het. 
  6. “Net soos My Vader ‘n Koninkryk aan My bemaak het, so bemaak ek ‘n Koninkryk aan julle  
  7. “sodat julle in My Koninkryk aan My tafel kan eet en drink, en op trone kan sit om oor die twaalf stamme van Israel te regeer.”

PEARL FOR EACH DAY:

(Luke 22:24-30) 

“YOU ARE THOSE WHO HAVE STAYED WITH ME:”

  1. A dispute also arose among them, as to which of them was to be regarded as the greatest. 
  2. And He said to them: “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors. 
  3. “But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves. 
  4. “For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I Am among you as the One Who serves. 
  5. “You are those who have stayed with Me in My trials, 
  6. “and I assign to you as My Father assigned to Me, a Kingdom, 
  7. “that you may eat and drink at My table in My Kingdom, and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om my van die korrekte Skriflesing gedeelte te voorsien elke dag, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge. Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlilheid, krag, mag, majesteit, lofprysing, aanbidding, en danksegging, van nou af tot in ewigheid.

THE PASSOVER MEAL:

Woensdag 9 April 2025. 

PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Lukas 22:14-23) 

DIE PAASMAALTYD:

  1. Toe dit tyd was, het Jesus aan tafel gegaan, en die apostels saam met Hom. 
  2. Hy sê toe vir hulle: “Ek het baie daarna uitgesien om hierdie paasmaaltyd saam met julle te eet, voordat Ek ly. 
  3. “Ek sê vir julle: Ek sal nie weer eet voordat dit in  die Koninkryk van God sy volle betekenis gekry het nie.”
  4. Daarna neem Hy ‘n beker, spreek die dankgebed daaroor uit en sê: “Neem dit en gee dit vir mekaar aan.
  5. “Ek sê vir julle: Ek sal van nou af nie meer wyn drink, voordat die Koninkryk van God gekom het nie.”
  6. Toe neem Hy brood, spreek die dankgebed uit, breek dit en gee dit vir hulle met die woorde: Dit is My liggaam wat vir julle gegee word. Gebruik dit tot My gedagtenis.”
  7. Met die beker na die maaltyd het Hy netso gemaak en gesê: “Hierdie beker is die Nuwe Verbond, beseël deur My bloed, wat vir julle vergiet word. 
  8. “Maar kyk, die hand  van die man wat My verraai, is saam met Myne hier op die tafel. 
  9. “Met die Seun van die mens sal dit gaan soos dit voorbeskik is, maar wee die man deur wie Hy verraai word.”
  10. Toe begin hulle mekaar uitvra wie van hulle dit kon wees wat so iets sou doen.

 Wednesday 9 April 2025. 

(Luke 22:14-23)

THE PASSOVER MEAL:

  1. And when the hour came, He reclined at table, and the apostles with Him. 
  2. And He said to them: “I Have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 
  3. “For I tell you, I Will not eat it until it is fufilled in the Kingdom of God.”
  4. And He took a cup, and when He had given thanks, He said: “Take this and divide it among yourselves. 
  5. “For I tell you that from now on I Will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the Kingdom of God comes.”
  6. And He took bread and when He Had given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying: “This is My body which is given for you, do this in remembrance of Me.”
  7. And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying: “This cup that is poured out for you, is the New Covenant in My blood. 
  8. “But behold the hand of him who betrays Me, is with me on the table. 
  9. “For the Son of man goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed.”
  10. And they began to question one another, which of them it could be who was going to do this.

THE PASSOVER MEAL BEING PREPARED:

Dinsdag 8 April 2025.

(Lukas 22:7-13)  

DIE PAASMAALTYD WORD VOORBEREI:

  1. Die dag van die Ongesuurde Brood, waarop die paaslam geslag moes word, het aangebreek. 
  2. Jesus stuur toe vir Petrus en Johannes vooruit met die opdrag: “Gaan berei die paasmaaltyd vir ons voor, dat ons dit kan eet.”
  3. Hulle vra Hom toe: ‘Waar wil U hê moet ons dit voorberei? 
  4. Toe antwoord Hy hulle: “Kyk, net soos julle die stad ingaan, sal ‘n man wat ‘n kruik water dra, julle ontmoet. Gaan saam met hom tot in die huis waar hy ingaan,
  5. “en sê dan vir die eienaar van die huis: ‘ons Leermeester vra u, waar is die kamer, waar Ek met My dissipels die paasmaaltyd kan eet?’
  6. “En hy sal julle ‘n groot bovertrek wys wat klaar daarvoor ingerig is. Daar moet julle dit voorberei.”
  7. Hulle het gegaan en dit gekry net soos Jesus vir hulle gesê het, en die paasmaaltyd voorberei.

THE PASSOVER MEAL, BEING PREPARED:

  1. Then came the day of Unleavened Bread, on which the Passover Lamb had to be sacrificed. 
  2. So Jesus sent Peter and John, saying: “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat it.”
  3. They asked Him: ‘Where will You have us prepare it?’
  4. He said to them: “Behold, when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house that he enters. 
  5. “And tell the master of the house: ‘The Teacher says to you: ‘Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?’
  6. “And He will show you a large upper room, furnished; prepare it there.”
  7. And they went and found it just as He Had told them, and they prepared the Passover.
