PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(1 Korintiërs 15:3-9) 

DIE HEMELVAART:

1. “Die belangrikste wat ek aan julle oorgelewer het, en wat ek ook ontvang het, is dit: Christus het vir ons sondes gesterf, volgens die Skrifte; 
2. “Hy is begrawe, en op die derde dag opgewek, volgens die Skrifte.  
3. “Hy het aan Sefas verskyn, daarna aan die twaalf, 
4. “en daarna aan meer as vyf honderd broers tegelyk, van wie sommige al dood is, maar die meeste nou nog lewe. 
5. Daarna het Hy aan Jakobus verskyn, en toe aan al die apostels. 
6. “Heel laaste het Hy ook aan my, die ontydig geborene, verskyn. 
7. “Ek is immers die geringste van die apostels, en is nie werd om ‘n apostel genoem te word nie, omdat ek die Kerk van God vervolg het. (Markus 16:16-20)

(Lukas 24:50-53)

1. Daarna het Hy hulle uit die stad uitgelei tot by Betanië. Daar het Hy Sy hande opgehef en hulle geseën. 
2. Terwyl Hy hulle seën, het Hy van hulle af weggegaan en is Hy in die hemel opgeneem.
3. Hulle het Hom aanbid, en met groot blydskap na Jerusalem toe teruggegaan. 
4. Daar het hulle die hele tyd by die tempel gebly en God geprys

(1 Corinthians 15:3-9)

THE ASCENSION:

1. “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: That Christ died for our sins, in accordance with the Scriptures,
2. “that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day, in accordance with the Scriptures,
3. “and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve.
4. “Then He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. 
5. “Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
6. “Then last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared also to me. 
7. “For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the Church of God.”

(Mark 16:15-20)

1. And He said to them: “Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel to the whole creation. 
2. “Whoever believes and is baptized, will be saved. But whoever does not believe, will be condemned. 
3. “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My Name, they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues, 
4. “they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

(Luke 24:50-53) 

1. And He led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up His hands, He blessed them. 
2. While He blessed them, He parted from them, and was carried up into heaven. 
3. And they worshiped HIM, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. 
4. They were continually in the temple, blessing God.

(Johannes 21:15-19)  

“VOER MY SKAPE:”

1.  Toe hulle klaar geëet het, vra Jesus vir Simon Petrus, “Simon Petrus, het jy My baie lief, meer as hulle hier? ‘Ja Here,’ antwoord  hy vir Jesus. ‘U weet dat ek U liefhet.’ Jesus sê toe vir hom: “Laat My lammers wei. “
2. Jesus vra hom weer ‘n tweede keer: “Simon, seun van Johannes, het jy My baie lief?” ‘Ja Here,’ antwoord hy Hom: ‘U weet dat ek U liefhet!’ Hy sê toe vir hom: “Pas My skape op.”
3. Jesus vra hom die derde keer: “Simon, seun van Johannes, het jy My lief? Petrus het bedroef geword omdat Jesus hom die derde keer gevra het: ‘Het jy My lief?’ En hy antwoord Hom: ‘Here, U weet alles. U weet dat ek U liefhet.’ Hy sê toe vir hom: “Laat my skape wei.
4. “Dit verseker Ek jou: Toe jy jonger was, het jy self jou klere vasgemaak en gegaan waar jy wil; maar wanneer jy oud is, sal jy jou hande uitsteek, en iemand anders sal jou klere vasmaak, en jou bring waar jy nie wil wees nie” 
5. Dit  het Jesus gesê om daarmee aan te dui deur watter soort dood, Petrus GOD sou verheerlik. Daarna sê Hy vir Simon Petrus: “Volg My!”

(John 21:15-19) 

“FEED MY SHEEP:”

1. When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter: “Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these? Simon Peter said to Him:? ‘Yes Lord, You know that I love You.’ Jesus said to him: “Feed My lambs.”
2. Jesus said to him the second time: “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Simon said to Him: ‘Yes Lord, You know that I love You.’ He said to Simon Peter: Tend My sheep.”
3. Jesus said to him the third time: “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Simon Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time: “Do you love Me?” And he said to Jesus: ‘Lord, You know everything; You know that I love You!’ Jesus said to him: “Feed My sheep!”
4. “Truly, truly, I say to you: “When you were young, you used to dress yourself and walked wherever you wanted, but when you are old you will stretch out your hands and another will dress you, and carry you where you do not want to go.”
5. This He said, to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God. And after saying this, He said to him: “Follow Me.”

PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Johannes 21:1-14)

ALHOEWEL DAAR SO BAIE VIS WAS, HET DIE NET NIE GESKEUR NIE: 

1. Na hierdie dinge, het Jesus weer aan Sy dissipels verskyn, by die See van Tibérias, en Hy het só verskyn: 
2. Daar was bymekaar, Simon Petrus, en Thomas wat Didimus genoem word, en Natánael van Kana in Galilea, en die seuns van Sebedëüs, en twee van Sy ander dissipels. 
3. Simon Petrus sê toe vir hulle: “Ek gaan visvang.” Hulle antwoord hom toe: ‘Ons gaan saam met jou.’  Hulle het uitgegaan en dadelik in die skuit geklim. In daardie nag het hulle niks gevang nie. 
4. En toe dit al dag geword het, staan Jesus op die strand; maar hulle het nie geweet dat dit Jesus was nie. 
5. En Jesus vra vir hulle: “My kinders, het julle nie iets om te eet nie?” Hulle antwoord Hom: ‘Nee!’
6. En Hy sê vir hulle: “Gooi die net aan die regterkant van die skuit, en julle sal kry.” Hulle het toe uitgegooi, en deur die menigte van visse, was hulle nie meer in staat om dit te trek nie. 
7. Daarop sê Johannes aan Petrus: ‘Dit is die Here! En toe Simon Petrus hoor dat dit die Here is, gord hy sy bokleed om – want hy was naak, gereed vir werk – en werp homself in die see. 
8. Maar die ander dissipels het met die skuitjie gekom, en die net met die visse gesleep; want hulle was nie ver van die land af nie. 
9. En toe hulle geland het, sien hulle ‘n koolvuur op die grond, en vis wat daarop lê, en brood. 
10. En Jesus sê vir hulle: “Bring van díe visse wat julle nou net gevang het.”
11. Simon Petrus het in die skuit geklim, en die net op die land getrek, vol groot visse, honderd-drie-en-vyftig in getal. En alhoewel daar so baie was, het die net nie geskeur nie. 
12. Toe sê Jesus vir hulle: “Kom eet!” Nie een van die dissipels het sover gekom om vir Hom te vra: ‘Wie is U,’ nie. Hulle het geweet dat dit die HERE is. 
13. Jesus kom toe, neem die brood en gee dit vir hulle. En net so ook die vis. 
14. Dit was al die derde keer dat Jesus aan Sy dissipels verskyn het, nadat Hy uit die dood opgewek is.

(John 21-1-14)

ALTHOUGH THERE WERE SO MANY FISH, THE NET WAS NOT TORN: 

1. After this, Jesus revealed Himself again to the disciples, by the Sea of Tiberias, and He revealed Himself in this way:
2. Simon Peter, Thomas, (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples, were together. 
3. Simon Peter said to them: “I am going fishing.” They answered: ‘We will go with you,’ They went out and got into a boat, but that night they caught nothing. 
4. Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore. Yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 
5. Jesus said to them: “Children, do you have any fish?” They answered Him: ‘No!’
6. He said to them: “Cast the net on the right side of the boat,  and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to hall it in, because of the quantity of fish. 
7. John said to Peter: ‘It is the Lord!’ When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea. 
8. The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land. 
9. When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire in place, with fish laid out on it, and bread. 
10. Jesus said to them: “Bring some of the fish that you have just caught.”
11. So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish. (One-hundred-and-fifty-three of them.) And although there were so many, the net was not torn. 
12. Jesus said to them: “Come and have breakfast!” None of the disciples dared ask Him: ‘Who are You?’ They knew it was the Lord. 
13. Jesus came and took the bread and gave pit to them, and so with the fish. 
14. This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples, after He was raised from the dead.

(Matthéüs 28:16-20) 

“MAAK ALLE NASIES MY DISSIPELS:”

1. Die elf apostels het na Galilea toe gegaan, na die berg waarheen Jesus hulle beveel het om te gaan. 
2. Toe hulle Hom sien, het hulle Hom aanbid, hoewel party getwyfel het. 
3. Jesus kom toe nader en sê vir hulle: “Aan My is alle mag gegee in die hemel en op die aarde. 
4. “Gaan dan na die nasies toe, en maak hulle My dissipels; doop hulle in die Naam van die Vader, en van die Seun, en van die Heilige Gees. 
5. “Leer hulle om alles te onderhou wat Ek julle beveel het. En onthou Ek is by julle al die dae, tot die voleinding van die wêreld.”

(Matthew 28:16-20)

“MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS:”

1. The eleven disciples went to Galilee to the mountain to which Jesus directed them. 
2. And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him, but some doubted. 
3. And Jesus came and said to them: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 
4. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 
5. “teaching them to observe all that I Have commanded you. And behold, I Am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Vrydag 23 en Saterdag 24 Mei 2025.

PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Johannes 20:24-31) 

“MOENIE ONGELOWIG WEES NIE, MAAR GELOWIG:”

1. Tomas, wat ook Didimus genoem was, een van die twaalf, was nie by die dissipels toe Jesus gekom het nie. 
2. Die ander dissipels sê toe vir hom: “Ons het die Here gesien!” Maar hy sê vir hulle: ‘As ek nie die merke van die spykers in Sy hande sien, en my vinger in die merke van die spykers lê, en my hand in Sy sy steek nie, sal ek nooit glo nie!’
3. Agt dae later was Jesus se dissipels weer bymekaar. Tomas was by hulle. Hoewel die deure gesluit was, het Jesus gekom en tussen hulle gaan staan en gesê: “Vrede vir julle!”
4. Daarna sê Hy vir Tomas: “Bring jou vinger hier en kyk na My hande; en bring jou hand en steek dit in My sy, en moenie langer ongelowig wees nie, maar wees gelowig.”
5. En Tomas sê vir Hom: ‘My Here en my God!’
6. Toe sê Jesus vir hom: “Glo jy omdat jy My sien? Gelukkig is dié wat nie gesien het nie, en tog glo.”
7. Jesus het nog baie ander wondertekens, wat nie in hierdie Boek beskrywe is nie, voor Sy dissipels gedoen. 
8. Maar hierdie wondertekens is beskrywe sodat julle kan glo dat Jesus die Christus is, die Seun van God, en sodat julle deur te glo, in Sy Naam die lewe kan hê.

 Friday 23 and Saturday 24 May 2025. 

(John 20:24-31)

“DO NOT DISBELIEVE, BUT BELIEVE:”

1. Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. 
2. So the other disciples told him: “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them: ‘Unless I see in His hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into mark of the nails, and place my hand into His side, I will never believe.’
3. Eight days later, His disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said: “Peace be with you.”
4. Then He said to Thomas: “Put your finger here, and see My hands; and put out your hand, and place it in My side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” 
5. Thomas answered Him: ‘My Lord and my God!’
6. Jesus said to him: “Have you believed because you have seen Me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Donderdag 22 Mei 2025.

PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Johannes 20:18-24) 

“VREDE VIR JULLE!”

1. Maria Magdalena het toe vir die dissipels gaan sê; ‘Ek het die Here gesien!’ En sy het ook vertel wat Hy vir haar gesê het. 
2. Daardie Sondagaand was die dissipels bymekaar. Alhoewel die deure gesluit was, omdat hulle bang was vir die Jode, het Jesus gekom en tussen hulle gaan staan, en vir hulle gesê: “Vrede vir julle!”
3. Nadat Hy dit gesê het, wys Hy Sy hande en Sy sy vir hulle. Die dissipels was baie bly toe hulle die Here sien. 
4. “Vrede vir julle!” Sê Hy toe weer vir hulle. “Soos die Vader My gestuur het, stuur Ek ook vir julle.”
5. Nadat Hy dit gesê het, blaas Hy oor hulle en sê:  “Ontvang die Heilige Gees!
6. “As julle vir mense hulle sondes vergewe, word dit hulle deur God vergewe; as julle dit nie vergewe nie, word dit nie deur God vergewe nie.”
7. Tomas, wat ook Didimus genoem is, een van die twaalf, was nie by die dissipels toe Jesus gekom het nie.

 Thursday 22 May 2025. 

(John 20:18-24)

“PEACE BE WITH YOU:”

1. Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples: ‘I have seen the Lord,’ – and that He Had said these things to her. 
2. On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them, and said to them: “Peace be with you!”
3. When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. The disciples were glad when they saw the Lord!
4. Jesus said to them again: “Peace be with you! As the Father Has sent Me, even so I Am sending you.”
5. And when He Has said this, He breathed on them and said: “Receive the Holy Spirit. 
6. “If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them by God; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld by God.”
